Artist's Comments
I was asked to do Rosa from FF-IV by ~Salarta like I did the girls from FF-X, in a re-imagining of sorts. I will admit that I have never played FF-IV and for a while, I had trouble choosing a theme for a new job/class for Rosa. We played around with various ideas and for a while I was going to do a succubus job for Rosa. But that really isn't like her. From what I know of her, she is the first real white mage, who have evolved over time to be somewhat of a weak support class. Rosa's design in the DS remake shows her as a stronger character, with a soft caring look on her face. I decided to keep some elements from the succubus idea, but really gave her a slightly edgier feel. And I figure she's an ace at recurve archery.
Done in Open Canvas over months of toil and turmoil. Every part of her costume is a separate layer and were added as ideas came to me. Many thanks to ~Salarta for the infinite patience with me. |
