Hope everyone had a great 2011! It's been a long time since I've submitted anything to DA. Everything looks so different here now. For a long time, I've been struggling to find my creativity again after 2008. I did art now and then, and had gotten a new PC which I NEVER used for doing much digital art. But it's been a few years now and I'm at a different place in life I think. I've picked up my pencil again and have gotten back into sketching. I've been dabbling in other creative outlets as well, playing with crafts again and getting reacquainted with my local arts & crafts stores. My girlfriend Kathryn and I went to Cancun from the 5th to the 15th of February. I booked us a full oceanview suite at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach 5-star resort. It was the most incredible Valentine's vacation I've ever had. It was so great to get away from the cold too. Cancun was so much fun, it was both mine and her first time there. The beach was lovely, though we both got sunburned pretty badly by the second day. I did a spa visit and got a sunburn aloe treatment massage though, it worked wonders.
