Hope everyone had a great 2011! It's been a long time since I've submitted anything to DA. Everything looks so different here now. For a long time, I've been struggling to find my creativity again after 2008. I did art now and then, and had gotten a new PC which I NEVER used for doing much digital art. But it's been a few years now and I'm at a different place in life I think. I've picked up my pencil again and have gotten back into sketching. I've been dabbling in other creative outlets as well, playing with crafts again and getting reacquainted with my local arts & crafts stores. I have been learning more about photography, though I don't have anywhere near enough skill or passion in that avenue yet. I've gone through my phase of epicurean art too and most recently find myself very much interested in style and design. What does this mean for the future of my DeviantArt page?

I joined DA a long time ago as ~mr-mister in an attempt to become a better artist. But back then I was mainly focused on a very narrow range of art. I think I've since learned from everything in my life that I want to explore as many creative outlets as possible. That's not to say that I won't be submitting digital artwork anymore. In fact my parents got me a new Intuos4 for my birthday this year that I've been itching to open and play with. I've been mixing work with pleasure and using my software development background to dabble in iOS development. I've gotten some amazing ideas I want to come to life, and maybe the medium of an iOS game is the best way to express it.

So to my watchers and friends here on DA, thank you for your patience with me as I keep trying to learn and create.
